A change for the better, what not to put on my skin.

Posted in Uncategorized, Cosmetology face reciprocal on November 6th, 2008

Very recently a client of long standing, one I have treated as necessary for many years for the occasional back pain, has been diagnosed with cancer. Both breasts and lymphatics. Medical treatment starts immediately with a 1 in 12 chance of surviving 5 years.

Now this is not an unusual case these days, I’m sure you will have personal experiences of a like kind yourself, perhaps more than one or two!! What sets this apart is that I had drawn her attention to the harmful ingredients in her bath room products, having stressed the statistics that 1 in 3, soon to be 1 in 2 contract cancer. Many of her friends were now happily using bathroom products with no harmful ingredients in them. Her choice was to remain unswervingly loyal to her original brand.

Not for a moment do I suppose that personal care products are the only cause of this situation, what it does do is emphasise the importance of tipping the scales in our favour, the importance of reviewing our decisions constantly, of not having a closed mind and being prepared to make changers which, to the best of our information will help us to reap the rewards of our life and live to realise the fulfilment of our dreams.

For myself a change to bathroom products, with no harmful ingredients in them and extra health care via supplementation with nutritional products, is a personal statement in self worth and self-esteem.
With growing teenagers in a second family, I have much to be grateful for, and look forward to being there as they become young adults.

Yours Faithfully
